Public Transport:-
Via Merseytravel...
If heading to us via bus, please note that all services and information can be found on the Merseytravel website. Sadly, we can not recommended a buss service but suggest you look to get one that will take you to the junction of:- Chapel Street.
Via Merseyrail...
If heading to us via Mersey Rail, we are located near the Moorfields Railway Station on the Merseyrail Wirral Line and Northern Line network. For train information please visit:- Merseyrail.Org. On arrival to the station you sometimes have 2 options. We suggest you use the Old Hall Street Exit if open. If not, don't worry, it is a very simple route to us from Moorfields' Main Entrance.
Directions on Foot from the Merseyrail Station.
From Old Hall Street Railway Station...
On exiting the station on the Old Hall Street Exit/Entrance, please turn to your left and go to the end of the road and onto Chapel Street (as shown below).
On this junction please turn to your right and head slightly down hill towards the Mersey.
On Chapel Street please go down to very next junction. On this junction, the building next to you should be Yorkshire House. Please turn down the road on your right. This road is called:- Rumford Street. If unsure, on this junction you will see on the other side of the road, Western Approaches, along with a car park. If you see the Pig and Whistle Pub you gone past the road, please turn around and head to the road ahead on you left. The correct road is pictured below...
To get into our Treatment Centre, head past the 2 road vehicle entrance, and the blue door on Alabama House on your right. You will then see on the right a vehicle access point within this building.
Please enter here and go into the courtyard area. You will find another entry point though the building into another courtyard on your left. Please go though this entrance and turn to your left. You will then see our glass porch door.
The buzzer is located on the wall to the right of the door.
From Moorfields' Main Railway Station Exit/Entrance...
On exiting the station's ticket office you can go 1 of 2 ways, the right has a ramp and steps, the left has a escalator. Either way you use on the bottom as you came out, on the road please turn to your right and walk down to the end of the road, onto Chapel Street (as shown below).
When you get to the former railway station Exchange Station in front of you and the Tavern Moorfields (Pub) on the left, please cross over the road in front of you and turn to your left and proceed down Chapel Street, so the Tavern Moorfields is on the other side of the road and stays on your left (as shown below).
Head down and cross Bixeth Street, and continue down Chapel Street to the junction of Old Hall Street. You will have Costa Coffee on your right and the entrance into Exchange Flags on your left. Cross over this junction and continue walking down Chapel Street.
On the next very next junction you should find Yorkshire House on your right. Please turn down the road on your right. This road is called Rumford Street. If unsure, on this junction you will see on the other side of the road, Western Approaches, along with a car park. If you see the Pig and Whistle Pub you gone past the road, please turn around and head to the road ahead on you left. The correct road is pictured below...

Car Parking...
Sadly, we do not have onsite car parking.
On-Street (Inner Zone):- Charges apply 7am to 11pm. Rates are approximately £2.00 for 30 mins, £4.00 for 1 hour, and £10.00 for a maximum 4-hour stay. From April 1, 2026, charges are set to rise to around £2.30 for 30 mins and £4.40 for 1 hour. website.
- Blue Badge: Holders can park in pay and display bays for free, but charges apply in specific council car parks.
- Evening Charges: Free parking after 6pm has ended, with charges in the city centre now applying until 11pm.
- Payment: Many car parks are now cashless.
The area has lots of car parks in the area, with the closest being the NCP located opposite Western Approaches, on the other section of Rumford Street or the NCP - Commercial Car Parks, The Capital, on:- Fazakerey Street, just off our section of Rumford Street.
